For the Spring Summer 2023 collection RENLI SU is inspirited by Marie Anne Lenormand. Born into humble beginnings, French fortune teller Marie Anne Lenormand became a celebrity in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, extending from the French Revolution through the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte and ending during the restored monarchy. She made her own fortune serving the rich and powerful, who bestowed their confidences when they sought her uncannily accurate predictions.
When Madame Lenormand turned seventeen, she began telling fortunes profesionally. Her skills put her in a position to open a shop and monetise her craft with her famous Lenormand cards and tea reading.
